CI engineer

Fit Voltaira Morocco - in Tangier, Morocco

Your tasks:

Take the next step in your career with us in a global innovative environment:

• Identify improvement opportunities and establish quantifiable improvement targets in productivity, material consumption, other operation expenses, quality, safety, space utilization, and inventory reduction.

• Support day-to-day performance improvement of the line (speed increase, downtime reduction, scrap reduction, labors efficiency improvement).

• Provide production support in areas of safety, quality, throughput improvement, line balancing, engineering problems and cost reductions.

• Initiate and lead Kaizen events as required.

• Facilitate the planning and implementation of workplace flow & layout, equipment installations, modifications, and moves according to Lean concepts.

• Together with the plant section teams and CI Manager establish a team culture at the lines with focus on Continuous Improvement.

• Implement standard work, visual factory and error proofing (poka yoke).

• Perform audits for Lean Manufacturing (5S, LPA, QRQC ... ).

• Communicate Best Practices throughout organization (one pager presentation).

• Industrial / Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering / or BAC+4 

• Minimum 2 year of experience in process improvement methods and tools (DMAIC, 5W, Kaizen, SMED, VSM)

• Experience in Automotive industry (Automotive wiring is preferred )

• Lean Six Sigma/TPM experience is preferred.

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, in technical writing, and in presentations.

• Capable of working under pressure and short completion times on projects.

• Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization both internally and externally (English language is required)

• Self-motivated and displays the skills required to develop and motivate employees.

• Engineer's degree in Industrialisation / mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
