We are looking for

Finance Manager

at one of our locations in Europe region - in Masevaux, France

Your tasks:

Lead and oversee accounting operations across our Masevaux (FR) and Courgenay (CH) sites.

As Finance Manager, you will supervise and support the local accounting teams, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely closings, and comprehensive financial reporting. You will manage budgets, monitor cash flow, handle audits, and contribute to group-wide initiatives, while ensuring compliance with statutory and internal standards across both sites.

  • Provide monthly reporting packages and reporting; prepare and/or verify statutory accounts and reports

  • Monitor the company’s financial position via balance sheet, P&L, and cash-flow analysis, including deviations from budget

  • Ensure account coherence and perform year-end closing, including account closing and reporting

  • Manage, support, and train the accounting team, including hands-on support of monthly closing activities

  • Support audits (internal and external) and group projects (e.g., standardisation and integration initiatives)

  • Reconcile VAT and ensure consistency with the Intrastat declaration (DEB); respond to mandatory surveys (e.g., INSEE)

  • Prepare the yearly budget (P&L, Investment, Personnel) and manage ongoing cash flow monitoring and planning

  • Coordinate and/or execute accounts receivable management; approve and process payments

  • Monitor assets under construction (capital projects for tools/equipment) and handle intra-group transactions (SAK/Holding/AKM)

Job requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Accounting or a related field

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar accounting role

  • Solid experience with French, Swiss, and German tax regulations

  • Proven track record in monthly and annual closings, VAT/DEB declarations, and financial reporting

  • Experience in managing accounting processes across multiple legal entities or countries is a plus

Knowledge: Strong general accounting knowledge

  • SAP, Xpert, Board or other management software, EAM, EIP, balanced scorecard

  • Understanding of compliance standards and regulatory frameworks

  • Familiarity with accounting terms in both English and German

Languages: German and English – Conversational level
