We are looking for

Product Engineer High Voltage Wire Harnesses

At one of our locations in the USA, in Greenville (SC), or Detroit (MI) 

Your Tasks:

Take the next step in your career with us in a global innovative (automotive) Environment

• Execute and drive High voltage related wire harness engineering activities within the RFQ phase of a project.
• Provide High Voltage System Engineering and Wire harness expertise to existing and future customers.
• Support the cross functional team to establish a quote package in response to the customer RFQ.
• Work in alliance with automotive standards e.g. APQP, ISO, TS, PPAP, DFM, USCAR…
• Report own Engineering hours and activities to assigned projects (if applicable) in TSR (Timesheet Reporter) or equivalent tool.
• Establish structured, detailed technical product documentation to distribute application knowhow globally, within the PLM system. (Teamcenter)
• Act as primary technical contact person for global customers (Americas, Europe and Asia) and support sales team with technical expertise.
• Extract all RFQ technical information and file documentation within TC in coordination with the support functions available to use for data entry/document filing tasks.
• Analyze Customer RFQ data, identify product requirements and list alternatives (if possible) to enhance product quality, reduce costs or improve manufacturability of the product for enhanced competitiveness.
• Participate/Conduct design review meetings for Level 2/3/4/5 RFQs
• Understanding of Vehicle Testing requirements and procedures

Your Profile:

• Extensive knowledge of Automotive Engineering standards, processes, and requirements
• Proficient in Product Lifecycle Management tools, 3D CAD systems, SAP and MS Office application..
• Profound expertise in High Voltage wire harness manufacturing processes, connection systems and materials.
• Possess good organizational, communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to drive for results.
• Min. 5 Years Working Experience in Wire harness applications.
• Min. 5 Years Working experience in a Automotive Company.
