We are looking for

Head of Global Quality in One Mobility Autokabel (m/f/d)

at one of our locations in Germany - Hausen im Wiesental

This role focuses on rebuilding existing systems and driving strategic transformation of the global quality function, including defining quality strategies, ensuring compliance with international standards, and managing escalations across regions and suppliers.

Your tasks:

• Define quality strategies e.g. "quality at the source", for all regions and supervise their implementation.

• Supervise the quality system in all regions and plants, escalates deviations to the Board.

• Represents and communicates customer requirements.

• Force roll out of divisional quality system in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO14001, VDA6.3.

• Communicates quality Key Performance Indicators and customer satisfaction to the Board.

• Supports the plants and regions in case of escalations towards customers.

• Coordinates the annual / monthly / weekly statements of the areas of quality and distribute consolidated reporting to the global Management Team.

• Implement audit methods and plans to compare and develop the plants to best in class.

• Implements a global consolidated Supplier Quality strategy and supplier development program.

• Supports on escalations towards suppliers that have significant business impact on the company.

• Reports the implementation/improvements of integrated management system to all required persons.

• Develop and roll out globally quality escalation matrix with related RASIC.

• Install a living APQP in the product life cycle management

• Develop template of escalation matrix adaptable to all other business processes.

• Implement audit methods and plans to ensure technical compliance

• Develop and roll out globally customer warranty handling processes and support the organization on minimizing financial and reputational impact

• Education: Master in Business Administration, Engineering or General Management or similar experience level gained through work experience.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier) in a senior leadership role in Quality functions.

• Certified internal auditor of VDA6.3 and/or IATF16949.

• Experience to work in Global matrix organization.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, intercultural competence.

• Readiness for the relocation (company supports partially relocation).

• Readiness for Business Trips (approx. 50 %).
